Mercy Doctor Elected to American College of Osteopathic Surgeons

Ardmore — Britt Morris, D.O., a vascular surgeon at Ardmore Surgical Associates, has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons (ACOS). The distinction recognizes commitment to the practice of surgery, surgical teaching, authorship of professional papers, and participation in local, state and national organizations.

A native Ardmoreite, Dr. Morris has been a vascular surgeon in Ardmore since 2005. He is certified in vascular surgery and is a member of the American Medical Association, American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, Southern Oklahoma Physician Hospital Association and Southern Oklahoma Physicians Association.

A graduate of the Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, he completed his residency at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, and his fellowship at South Pointe Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.

Mercy Memorial Health Center is a member of Mercy Health System of Oklahoma and the Sisters of Mercy Health System.
