Mercy Memorial Welcomes New Surgeon

Ardmore — Scott Carpenter, D.O., is the newest surgeon to join Ardmore Surgical Associates.

Dr. Carpenter received his medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, Iowa, and completed his residency in general surgery at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Dr. Carpenter moved to Ardmore from Burton, Michigan.

“We are extremely pleased to welcome Dr. Carpenter to Ardmore,” said Bob Thompson, Mercy Memorial’s president and CEO. “His surgical skills will make a nice addition to our great team of surgeons.”

Dr. Carpenter is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and the American Osteopathic Association. He joins Bill Parker, M.D., Mary Parker, M.D., Britt Morris, D.O., and Rick Dorroh, M.D., at Ardmore Surgical Associates.
