Annual Events
Mercy Classic Golf Tournament – Begun in 1984,
the Tournament is an annual fundraiser for Mercy Hospice and the
Mercy Foundation. With a sellout of 250 participants each year, golfers from
near and far enjoy participating in this exciting and challenging tournament
held at one of Oklahoma City’s finest courses.
Mercy Foundation Gala – A truly golden holiday celebration, the Mercy Gala
occurs every other year and features an elegant dinner, dancing and silent
auction. As the primary source of funding for the Mercy
Care Fund, proceeds from the Gala support individuals and families facing
medical crisis
situations.
Thunder Run II – As part of the MS Bridge
awareness and fundraising efforts, the annual spring Thunder Run motorcycle
weekend includes a poker run, bike show,
vintage bike exhibit and much more. Bike enthusiasts from across the region
gather for this three-day event to help raise money for patients with
multiple sclerosis.
Physicians Musical Moments – Fine dining and
dazzling music set the stage each fall for the Physicians Musical Moments.
Hosted by the MS Bridge, the concert spotlights a nationally renowned
pianist plus showcases the talents of Mercy’s own musically gifted
physicians. Proceeds raised from this event benefit multiple
sclerosis patients.
 Tree of Life
– For more than a decade, star-laden evergreen trees have adorned the
lobby of Mercy Health Center during the holiday season. Each tree is
decorated with star-shaped ornaments that bear the names of individuals who
have touched our lives. After the holidays, donors may pick up their personalized
ornaments as a keepsake. If you would like to make a $10 contribution to
Mercy Hospice, stars are
available for purchase beginning November 20th in the Mercy Gift Shop or by
calling Mercy Foundation at 405-936-5825.
